false-detached

I get false "detached" messages after TP or on log in

If you check that your locked Collar, Cuffs or Gag are still there, you are fine and you can ignore the message.

1. There is an annoying SL bug that would actually detach your attachments once rendered. However, LULU Gear have a built-in workaround where they would immediately re-attach when this happens.

2. The LULU HUD waits a while (something like 15 secs) before checking whether your locked Collar, Cuffs or Gag are still there. (This check is necessary to prevent cheating.)

3. Anything locked that is not attached at the moment of checking will trigger the message, to inform you to re-attach the Collar, Cuffs or Gag in case SL doesn't successfully re-attach the gear. Just to be sure, your HUD will also re-rez the item. Your Owner will not be informed as there is no breach.

4. If you do a manual check and everything is there, you're good to go. Otherwise, you need to quickly look for the gear in your Object inventory and put them on.

5. About 30 secs later, the HUD will do a second check to verify all your locked gear is intact. If it finds missing gear, it will trigger the Alarm.

Miriam Himanez has kindly done a lot of stress-testing, and found that the following helps:

1. Try not to wear anything else on the same attachment points as your LULU Gear (e.g. forearms, lower legs, upper arms and upper legs).

2. If you must (e.g. boots), wear the LULU Gear first. Then, wear anything else after that.

It could well be that the detach bug affects secondary attached objects more.
