====== Why does my Ownership Deed and Collar Tag say I am owned by CITY NOIR? ======


If your Deed lists **CITY NOIR** as your [[what-is-my-owner|Owner]], it means you are either **self-owned** or currently you have **no owner**.

If that’s not the case, and you already have an owner that is not yourself, it means your HUD is not updating correctly. Try these steps:

  - Restart the HUD (**HUD menu > HELP… > restart…**)
  - Reset owners (**HUD menu > owner… **) and add owners again.
  - If it still doesn’t work, it means SL’s borked the HUD really good. Just get a new HUD (**HUD menu > HELP > New HUD…**) and reset owners (previous step). That should work.
